About ARK

Guided by faith. Measured by what reaches people.

ARK Foundation supports widows, orphans, fatherless and underserved children in Nigeria with school fees, food, living costs and care, so they can live with dignity, hope and growing independence.

Acts of Random Kindness

ARK stands for Acts of Random Kindness. The name is a reminder that kindness does not have to wait for a programme or a perfect moment. It can be a school fee paid on time, a bag of groceries, or rent covered for a widow raising children on her own.

We began in early 2025 with monthly living support for 13 widows. Since then we have kept that promise every month, sent 30 children back to school, and reached hundreds of children in orphanages across Lagos, Ogun, Abuja and Borno.

We are a Christian foundation. We serve everyone in need, and we try to work the way Philippians 2:4 asks: looking not only to our own interests, but also to the interests of others.

ARK Foundation seal

Our seal

What the seal means

The ark
A sanctuary amid life’s storms. The ark stands for our mission to offer refuge, security and hope to people in distress.
The hand
The ark rests on an open hand. It is a reminder that this work is upheld by God’s hands, and that every effort is rooted in faith.
Green
Growth and renewal. Our commitment to support that lasts, not just a single visit.
White
Peace of mind. We care about emotional and mental well-being as much as material need.

How we work

  • We say what a gift will fund before we ask.

Each campaign publishes its goal and, where we can, the cost per child.

  • We report back, every time.

When a campaign ends we publish who was reached. Monthly support is logged month by month.

  • We go in person.

Our team and volunteers deliver support directly to homes and families.

  • We protect the people we serve.

We do not publish children’s names or the addresses of the homes we visit.

Kindness you can trace.
